Finding fact from fiction
A big part of conducting good research is to be thorough in your approach.
In order to ensure you are collating information from reliable sources it is important to conduct a cross-examination of various websites.

Understanding the algorithm
Descriptions, hashtags & interactions
There are different factors that positively affect the instagram algorithm, such as hashtags that improve the search engine optimisation & overall visibility. Others include:
Using stickers on stories can increase engagement
Creating short, snappy reels can gain traction and spread quickly
Scheduling at optimal times by reviewing analytics can help optimise interactions
Posting consistently will help retain attention of followers and increase reach.

Testing the app
Bux fixes
Using Trello I would collaborate with the developer and update cards to inform him and the rest of the team what bugs I encountered when testing the app.

Updating the website
Bringing clarity & consistency
Introducing a selling point
Adding a ‘dotiv the podcast’ page
Creating a dotiv podcast page helps garner attention from the target users. Additionally, interested parties can then view an in-depth display of the varied topics & conversations surrounding CAM.
After reviewing the information architecture, visual hierarchy & overall user interface of the previously designed website, I came to the following results:

Designing new screens
UX/UI improvements
Given that our main goal was to create an mvp which functioned well, the cards consisting of ux/ui improvements would be placed within the trello board as lower priority.

Media Post Designs
Informing & advertising
The goal of the dotiv social media page is to educate its followers about CAM and entice their desired target audience to follow specific calls-to action.
These calls-to-action include:
Downloading the app
Booking a practitioner
Purchasing supplements

Turning ‘pseudo’ into science
Holistic & alternative health has long been considered a pseudoscience and much of it has to do with how it has been presented online.
Websites that advertise CAM( Complementary & Alternative Medicine) are often clunky and feel outdated in their design.
