Whilst many of these companies pertain to other sports, their social media presence is indicative of the popularity and recognition that they each organically built over time. Analysing the various techniques used to garner attention and engagement was the first step before helping LIT7s elevate their own branding strategy.

Due to each post being a unique stand alone post, a way to bring universality to the screen was to use the colours red, green, black and white. Whether it be these colours or variants of these colours, the reason for this was to create a visual consistency throughout the LIT7s IG feed.

For players, offering fun incentives to win can have a huge impact on building excitement & motivation for upcoming events. In addition, for sponsors, collaborating with LIT7s to provide match-day prizes has a residual marketing effect that can help gain outreach amongst a larger community.

As Rugby 7s season starts in May, LIT7s uses the Christmas period to try and sell merchandise that appeals to players and fans of rugby. The below images are just a couple of examples of the type of designs I created on Canva.

On the top is the old pitch map that would be handed out to teams, staff and attendees at the yearly held LIT7s tournament. On the bottom is the updated design which I created to better display the pop-up stools and other offerings which would be present on the day.

In order to maximise ticket sales and build up as much social media outreach as possible, LIT7s tries to advertise upcoming events well in advance. In the examples shown below, I use graphic elements to make the messaging pop and be more eye-catching for the person viewing.
